altitude mountain area with coast cliffs in the limestone plain of

Natural Value:
This
is an area of great ecologic and cultural interest due to its
geomorphologic, forest and landscape characteristics.
There are various geologic formations that even include a path with
dinosaur tracks.
The forest has several Portuguese and Iberian endemic species.
There are three types of landscape: the rural of plateau; the mountain
landscape with luxurious vegetation and also the coast landscape.
In the cliffs of Roca Cape we find endemic flower species and vast fauna
interest, specially reptiles and amphibians.
