The Holy Spirit Chapel

It is considered one of the most beautiful chapels of the village and is placed in the National Palace of Sintra.
It was used along the centuries by the Court, when this lodged in the summer’s residence of the Portuguese kings.
It has a central nave and there were sculpted geometric drawings in the ceiling. On the floor you can see mosaics from the 15th century and on the walls there are several white doves representing the Holy Spirit.
